Faiz Kidwai


Attained his degree in 1983 from NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi, remained research associate for conservation of old Towns including studies in former Yugoslavia (Bosnia &Herzegovina) representing Pakistan through the Dawood College Aga Khan Program MIT Harvard. 

He started his career as Assistant Director Design, Karachi Development Authority and had been responsible for Designing, Co-ordination and Management of a number of prestigiousProjects. 

Faiz specializes in the field of Design & Project Management for numerous types of projects including Area Development, Expressways, Roads, Industries, Housing, Commercial / Office Buildings, Malls, Hospitals and Recreational Projects. He has also obtained expertise in studies related to joint ventures and BOO / BOT type of projects. He has significantly contributed in Baluchistan. He is responsible for the design and management Sangar Housing Project at Gwadar. He has been associated with the project for more than 12 years and has seen various phases of development in the area. He has also been involved in a number of other housing projects in the coastal towns of Pasni, Ormara, Pishkan and Gwadar. He has designed and managed the construction of a number of other projects in Baluchistan which also include a 70 bed Hospitalat Dalbandin, financed by HE Prince Fahad Bin Sultan, the Governor of Tabuk , Saudi Arabia. He has very close association with the people of Gwadar, Makran and Baluchistan area. He is well aware of the Socio – Economic dynamics of the people of Gwadar and has seen various stages of transition during last more than a decade. His association with the people of Makran has also motivated him to significantly contribute towards the social uplifting of the people of the region. He has voluntarily undertaken a number of social welfare projects in the area through Rotary International. He personally initiated and managed through Rotary International to provide free of cost shelters to more than 100 under privileged families in 3 villages in district Kech. Besides providing shelter units there are 2 schools, which has received upgrading support in various forms. There are also some drinking water facilities provided in these villages. Faiz was honored by the Rotary International and was awarded the Rotary International Service Above Self Award 2003. This is the highest award given by Rotary International in the world. He has been contributing on various social and professional aspects in country leading newspapers and magazines. He has attended numerous local, regional and international seminars, conferences and conventions in a number of countries.He entered into private practice in 1987 and is Partner M/s. Consultants Group
